Quality Teaching in Cyprus

• Classes are taught in the English Learning Centre Cyprus, a language school in Limassol
• 12 modern and air conditioned classrooms

Lessons structure: 9:00 till 12:15 with a 15 min. break in the middle
Level: Beginners to Advanced ( At the beginning of the course your English knowledge will be tested to help us to place you in the appropriate class)
This is the core programme the purpose of which is to develop effective communication and fluency by focusing on the main skills:

Communication Module:
Level: Beginners to Intermediate
• This lesson is designed to improve your communication skills and should be taken in conjunction with the General English course.
IELTS Module:
Level: Intermediate to Advanced
• IELTS is an international English testing system recognised all over the world. This class prepares students for the exam by focusing on the following skills: essay writing, fluent and accurate speaking, describing and interpreting graphs and charts and practice in reading and writing.
• Candidates must complete an IELTS Entry Test before being accepted on the programme .
• The IELTS exam can be taken in Cyprus once a month.
Business Module:
Level: Beginners to Intermediate
A task-based programme designed for professionals who use English in their work and wish to increase their confidence and fluency for social and business purposes. Business language skills practiced are:
• Telephoning and negotiating
• Business vocabulary
• Making presentations
• Writing reports in English

| Work Experience |
Minimum age: 18 years old
Citizenship: European Union
Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Our Work experience programme is designed for young adults who are interested in getting some experience in Hospitality and the Catering industry whilst also practising their English skills. This course is a combination of a minimum of 4 weeks studying the English language at our school and an unpaid work placement.
Programme structure
• General English lessons for the first 4 weeks (minimum). During your studies you will have 1-3 interviews with potential employers.
Work experience could be of an indefinite length and should be agreed during the interview with the employer.
• The applicant will be asked to provide a CV in English with a picture and a covering letter explaining the type of internship you are looking for.
• Previous experience in the industry is not necessary but recommended.
