Are study materials included?
All study materials will be provided in your lessons, so you just need to bring a pen and a notepad.
How will my English level be tested?
Your English level with be tested on your first Monday morning. You will be tested on grammar and knowledge of vocabulary in a written test under exam conditions. This will take about half an hour.
How long will I study English each day?
You will study English every morning for three hours with a 15 minute break.
What activities will be available in the afternoons?
There will be supervised trips to the beach every afternoon and you will be able to do sea and beach games there. There will also be a comprehensive activity programme at the hotel where we provide a variety of sports and cultural activities (Hip Hop, Dance, Art, Photography etc)
What activities will be available in the evenings?
There will be karaoke, theatre nights, film nights, treasure hunts, talent shows and discos.
What qualifications do the teachers have?
All our teachers will be graduates, native English speakers with relevant teaching qualifications. Many will be from our London schools and some will also be skilled in teaching activities such as football or drama. Our two activity managers are trained first-aiders, and we would expect a high proportion of our teaching staff to have this skill.
What are the bedrooms like?
The rooms have triple beds and are air-conditioned with en-suite bathroom, private balcony and plenty of storage. Each room also has a TV. Telephone will be made available for internal calls, but not external ones. These can be made from a public phone in reception.
How much pocket money will I need?
Although you will be provided with three meals a day, you will need pocket money to buy drinks and snacks such as ice- creams while on the beach or on excursions. You might also want to buy presents to take home so you will need money for this. We recommend €125 per week spending money. You will be given the option to partake in extra optional paid activities including scuba-diving, waterpark, shopping trips and jeep safari. Your agent will have the full list of optional extra activities with prices and you can either book these before you go or pay on arrival.
What will the food be like?
Full board is provided at the hotel on a self-service basis. The menu is carefully designed by the hotel chef and is healthy and of a high standard. On excursion days a packed lunch is provided.
What about insurance?
All students must take out fully comprehensive insurance before they arrive. Cyprus is an EU country, if you are an EU citizen, then please also make sure you have a European Health Insurance Card.
What will the weather be like?
Summer temperatures in Cyprus range from 30-33 celsius, so you will need clothes for a warm climate. A beach towel, sunglasses, high factor sun protection and a hat is very important!
What time do I have to go to bed?
Lights will go off at midnight so you have to be in bed before then!
What time do I have to get up in the morning?
Breakfast is served from 7.45am and lessons start at 9:30 am

Free WiFi connection is also available in the hotel lounge.
